Here's a dialog from my 1st grade class last night:
Me: Well, kiddos, we have a test to do. Should we do it tonight or next week?
Kids: Next week!
Me: Alright, we'll do a little review this week, and the test next week.
Kid: Mrs. Taylor?
Me: Yes?
Kid: How about if we just have an easy class this week. Let's not do any worksheets, either.
I must be going soft in my old age, but they got their way. We learned about Lent and made rosaries. No worksheets. No test.
Oh, but just WAIT until next week! ;)
